What is the differences between brandy and whiskey?

Brandy

Brandy is a liqueur made from distilled grapefruit juice. It is a drink that is usually consumed during dinner with an alcohol content of 30 to 60 percent.

The brandy is rarely made with fruits other than grapes. It is called eau de vie. In some countries, brandy is a drink made with aromatic chemicals and pigments added to distilled alcohol.

Cognac is a variety of Brandy made from the distilled white wine and produced solely in the Cognac region of France.

Whiskey

Whiskey (whiskey or whiskey) is a type of liquor that is extracted from fermented grain pulp. A wide variety of beverages are made from different grains such as barley, malt barley, rye, malt rye, and wheat, corn (corn). Whiskeys are processed into wooden barrels made of oak wood. But American corn whiskey is not processed this way.

Whiskey is a worldwide beverage that is produced in native places based on their availability and is a strictly regulated energy drink with different varieties. By combining different varieties of grain malt and with the filtering method the percentages of alcohol can be controlled. For corn malt, 80% alcohol can be given and for other grain malts, 90% alcohol can be given. Before adding water, the unique aroma can be added to make it pure whiskey or vodka(whiskey with flavors).

Whiskey derives 60% of its flavor from the way it is processed. Bourbon whiskey is an example of well-brewed whiskey packed in oak barrels.

Aging of Whisky

Whiskies do not mature in the bottle, only in the cask, so the "age" of a whisky is only the time between distillation and bottling. This reflects how much the cask has interacted with the whisky, changing its chemical makeup and taste. Whiskies that have been bottled for many years may have a rarity value, but are not "older" and not necessarily "better" than a more recent whisky that matured in wood for a similar time.

Scotch

Whisky made in Scotland is known as Scotch whisky, or simply as "Scotch" (especially in North America).
